Collaborative Partnerships
Our History
The NGTI was formed in 2014 through Niagara University and was made possible through a grant provided by the Western New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board (WNYPPAB).
Utilizing the strength of the tourism industry as a driver of the Western New York economy, the NGTI serves as a convener for the public and private sector towards industry and community development.
Strengthened by Niagara University's Vincentian mission, the NGTI endeavors to foster collaborative partnerships throughout the region. NGTI initiatives are based out of its 4 Pillars:
- Research
- Workforce Development
- Technology
- Entrepreneurship
