Kathy Schifano, a pastel and oil painter, was observed capturing the picturesque scene of one of the bridges on Three Sisters Island at Niagara Falls State Park. Accompanied by a group of five artists from Studio 120 at the Niagara Arts & Cultural Center, they embarked on a field trip to engage in the art of plein air painting. Plein air painting refers to the practice of creating artwork outdoors, directly capturing the essence of natural landscapes and scenes.
